poetry foundation of cincinnati
This project was located in Over-the-Rhine, a neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. I was assigned a program similar to the existing Poetry Foundation in Chicago and tasked with creating a space that would most adequately combine our cultural and political understanding of the area in which we were building. Being a native of Cincinnati, I understood many of the issues related to this area and developed a design that allowed itself to take on the character of its surroundings while also providing services and activities which are widely sought after.
